Terms and conditions

The terms for using this website and for the requests, appointments and subscriptions arranged through it.

Last updated:

01Scope

These terms apply to your use of the SONAIL website and to every request, appointment and subscription arranged through it. Differing terms apply only where we have agreed to them in writing.

Consumers keep every mandatory right granted by Austrian consumer protection law; nothing in these terms limits them.

02Our services

We provide nail care and nail design in our studio in Wien. The work shown on this site is illustrative: your result depends on the condition of your nails, the technique chosen and the time the treatment takes.

Please tell us before the treatment about allergies, nail or skin conditions, or a pregnancy. We may decline a treatment where it does not appear safe.

03Requests and appointments

Services and packages shown on the site are an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer. Submitting a form places a non-binding request.

A contract comes about only once we confirm the request by phone, by email or in the studio. The automatic acknowledgement that a form arrived is not yet an acceptance.

04Prices

All prices are in euro and include statutory VAT. The price that applies is the one current when your appointment is confirmed.

Extras requested during a treatment are charged according to the price list displayed in the studio. We tell you the additional cost before carrying them out.

05Subscriptions

A subscription entitles you to the services described in that package during its term. Services not used by the end of the term expire and are not paid out.

Subscriptions taken out online are monthly. The amount is charged a month in advance through our payment provider Stripe, and the subscription continues until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing month - simply email info@sonailpro.at or call +43 660 4002003. Months already charged are not refunded pro rata; the services for the current month remain available to you until it ends.

  • Subscriptions are personal and cannot be transferred to someone else.
  • For a card issued in the studio, the term starts on issue and does not renew automatically.
  • For a monthly subscription taken out online, the term starts on payment confirmation and renews each month until cancelled.
  • If you lose the card, we issue a replacement on proof of purchase.

06Delivery of the subscription card

You can collect the card in the studio or have it posted to you within Austria. We carry the shipping risk for home delivery; please check the package once it arrives.

Please give delivery addresses in full. We cannot answer for delays caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.

07Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you may withdraw from a distance contract - a subscription requested online, for instance - within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts when the contract is concluded, or when you receive the card if goods are delivered.

A clear statement by email to info@sonailpro.at or by post to Burggasse 100/G2, 1070 Wien, Austria, is enough. We refund payments already made within 14 days of receiving it.

If you expressly asked us to begin a treatment before the period ended, you owe a proportionate amount for the part already performed.

08Cancelling an appointment

Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the slot to someone else. A phone call or an email is enough.

Where appointments are repeatedly missed without notice, we reserve the right to book future slots against a deposit.

09Website content and comments

You may use this website for private purposes. Automated scraping, copying content into competing offers and any commercial use without our consent are not permitted.

You are responsible for the comments you leave on the blog. We remove contributions that are unlawful, abusive or plainly promotional, and doing so gives rise to no claim against us.

10Liability

We are fully liable for personal injury and for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. For slight negligence we are liable only where a material contractual duty is breached, and then limited to the damage typically foreseeable.

We cannot guarantee that the website is available without interruption. Maintenance and faults at our hosting provider can cause temporary outages.

11Governing law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

For consumers the statutory place of jurisdiction is unaffected: you may sue us where you live or usually stay. In dealings with businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Wien.

12Final provisions

If a provision is invalid, the rest of the contract stays in force and the statutory rule takes the place of the invalid provision.

We may change these terms for future requests. A contract already concluded is governed by the version published when it was concluded.
